ABOUT

Frances Li is a sophomore at USC studying Business Administration with a minor in Real Estate Development and emphasis in Entrepreneurship.

At age 16, she founded Girls Can Code Too after recognizing that many young girls lacked access to coding education or felt intimidated participating in STEM environments. What began through cold outreach and pitching herself to Girl Scout Troop Leader meetings evolved into a confidence-focused coding initiative that has impacted 300+ girls ages 5-16 through bi-monthly workshops and mentorship.

Her mission extends beyond teaching technical skills. Through Girls Can Code Too, Frances aims to help young girls feel confident, represented, and empowered to pursue opportunities in STEM and beyond.
